About Me

I am an activist and writer – basically I’m deeds and words

I agitate and organise mainly for GMB and other trade unions, and have done grassroots organising on housing. I’ve also been involved in feminist campaigns such as No More Page 3, and the webzine For Books’ Sake, and my day job involves working with lots of different campaigners.

I write for anyone who’s nice. I’ve done stuff for The Guardian, New Statesman, The New Internationalist, The Indie, The TES, TUC Young Workers and The Huffington Post. Some of my writing appears in Dead Ink Books’ Know Your Place, an anthology on being working-class.

If you’d like to contact me about doing stuff, writing stuff or speaking about stuff, then you can email me.
